How does symptom triage actually work?
A symptom-screening playbook (NICE-aligned for red flags) runs over every inbound message and call. Routine symptoms get routine slots. Same-day symptoms get the same-day slot. Red flags (chest pain, stroke FAST, sepsis signs, paediatric fever, mental-health crisis, obstetric emergencies) get an immediate 999/111 instruction to the patient and a flag on the duty doctor's screen.
