Does it reply automatically, or do I approve everything?
Your call. Two modes: Suggest drafts the reply and queues it for you to send with one tap. Autonomous sends low-risk replies on its own (e.g. opening hours, basic FAQs) and only escalates the awkward ones — refunds, complaints, custom quotes — to you. You set the rules. Most customers start in Suggest for 14 days, then graduate.
What can't it do?
It won't quote on jobs it doesn't have data for, it won't authorise refunds without you, and it won't make promises about availability it can't verify. When it doesn't know, it says so — and bumps the message to you with a draft. We'd rather it pass than guess.
During setup we ingest 50 of your real past replies (you pick them). CLOSER builds a tone profile — sentence length, formality, emoji use, sign-offs, even your common typos if you want them kept. You review the first week of drafts and rate them; it tunes from your edits.
How long until it sounds right?
Most customers say the tone is "basically me" by day 5. By day 30 it's catching your phrases you didn't realise you used. You can edit the tone profile manually any time — switch warmer, sharper, more formal — and it applies instantly.
What if a team member needs a different tone?
Each inbox or team member gets their own tone profile. The shop floor WhatsApp can be casual and emoji-friendly; the directors' email can be buttoned-up. Same CLOSER, different voice per channel.

Pricing & contracts
How much is it?
Suggest: £199/mo. Autonomous: £499/mo. Both include all channels, unlimited messages, and the tone-learning. No setup fees, no per-message charge, no surprise overages. Full breakdown on the pricing page with a calculator.
Is there a free trial?
14 days, no card required. We set you up, you use it for real, you decide. If you don't continue, we delete your data on day 15.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Monthly rolling. Cancel any time with 7 days' notice. We earn it every month or we don't keep you.
UK and EU only. We use AWS London (eu-west-2) for everything CLOSER-related — message history, tone profiles, embeddings. Nothing leaves the EEA. We're ICO-registered (registration number to follow as the public security page goes live).
How long do you keep messages?
30 days by default — enough for context on threaded replies. Configurable down to 7 days or up to 90 days per your policy. After the retention window, message bodies are deleted; only anonymised metadata (channel, response time) is kept for your dashboard stats.
Do you train your AI on my messages?
No. Your data trains your tone profile only — never a shared model, never cross-customer. You can export and delete everything any time. A full Security page is shipping shortly with sub-processor list, breach process and DPA template.
